The Postgraduate Professional Degree of I and II level are more and more seen as laboratories where scientific research and technological innovation are transferred in training programs of excellence for figures of high professionalism. Within a year of study are provided: teaching modules (or alternatively online), short courses from foreign teachers and professionals according to invitations, visits to construction sites, workshops on "case history, internship activities and final exam thesis. Public and private agencies, well-known experts, Architecture Studios and Engineering Companies collaborate with the Master School during the year. The experience in internships becomes also an instrument of placement and recruiting in the work environment. The frontal teaching that is done in the first four/five months of Masters Courses , activated by the School "F.lli Pesenti" of Polytechnic of Milan, is divided into several Teaching Units. The contents, highlighted in the title of each unit, are carried out by the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, professionals and well-known experts, which provide the necessary technical and scientific basis for courses within the Postgraduate Professional Degree of Civil Construction and Infrastructure. The Teaching Units can be followed also as ‘’update courses " by students that are not enrolled in the Postgraduate Professional Degree Course.
